Plug the AS-15 into a 20-amp dedicated outlet that is GFCI protected. Plug in your whirlpool pump to the female outlet in the front of the AS-15 Remove ferrule nut from the air switch. Slide ferrule nut onto the air tubing making sure the threads are facing the right direction. Firmly attach the air tubing to the nipple of the air switch. Installation is now complete.
It is advised by the NECA to test your GFCI outlets and breakers once a month. If your GFCI fails the test, DON'T USE YOUR WHIRLPOOL TUB OR GARBAGE DISPOSAL. Have it replaced by a licensed electrician immediately. Your safety is our highest priority.
Always test your pump first before buying a new air button or air switch control box. Plug the pump directly into the outlet making sure it comes on. It is common to think the air switch control box is bad when in fact there is a bad pump.
